Undertow Delay

Undertow grew out of Abyssal Reverb, starting as an experiment to explore where its dark, immersive atmosphere could be taken through delay.

I wanted to create a delay that could do more than simply repeat a sound. Something darker, deeper and less predictable. A delay that could pull a signal apart, reshape it and turn even a simple note into an evolving atmosphere.

Undertow is built around deep sound shaping. The echoes can move, blur and dissolve until they no longer feel like separate repeats, but like part of the sound itself. It can sit quietly underneath a track, or completely transform what you feed into it.

It is made for ambient guitars, synths, vocals, drones and experimental sound design, but there is no correct way to use it. Push it gently and it adds depth. Push it further and it starts dragging your sound somewhere else entirely.

I originally created Undertow because I wanted a delay that felt less controlled and more alive. Something that could surprise me and lead me towards sounds I would not have found on my own.

Now I am sharing it in the hope that it finds a place in your music, your experiments and your creativity too.
