Abyssal Reverb

I originally created Abyssal Reverb for myself.

I was looking for a reverb with a unique sound. Something darker, deeper and less predictable than the plug-ins I already had. I wanted a reverb that did not simply recreate a room, but created a place of its own.

That idea slowly grew into Abyssal Reverb.

At its core is the Abyssal Harmonics engine, which pulls parts of the reverb tail downward instead of making them shimmer upwards. The result is a dark, evolving atmosphere that can sit behind guitars, vocals, synths and sound design without simply sounding like another conventional reverb.

It works especially well for shoegaze, ambient music, cinematic textures, post-rock and anything that needs to feel deeper, stranger or impossibly large.

Abyssal Reverb is completely free.

I made it because I could not find the sound I was looking for anywhere else. Now I am sharing it with the rest of the world, in the hope that it finds a place in your music and creativity too.
